'Everest Lab' Live Show | Trailer & #GregVlog

What happens to your body when you push it to somewhere it’s not built to go – to the top of the world?

With summit kit, interactive experiments & stunning videos from his trek to the highest lab in the world at Everest Base Camp, join TV & YouTube Science Presenter Greg Foot to find out.

Greg will tell the story of a team of scientists, doctors and children who pushed themselves to extremes to uncover cutting-edge medical treatments and save lives back home.

This is not only a story of groundbreaking research, it’s a story of how modern medicine can lead you on a scientific adventure.

What’s in the show?

With a host of incredible photos and stunning video filmed by Greg (& his team: Nick Insley & Thom Hoffman) enroute & when up at Base Camp, this 45min – 60min live show will show you just what happens when you push your body to go somewhere it’s not built to go – to the top of the world.

Highlights include a dramatic opening that brings an Everest summit attempt and Intensive Care Unit to life, a camera that shows – LIVE – individual red blood cells rushing through your tiny blood vessels, a chance to dress up in a full summit suit, and the odd explosion to show the importance of oxygen too!

This is not only a story of ground-breaking research, it’s a story of how modern medicine can lead you on a scientific adventure.

Who’s the show for?

The original show was written for a Key Stage 4 audience but it has since be modified to also work for a Key Stage 5 or 3 or even KS2 audience. Greg  is used to performing shows like this to audiences from 100 up to 1000+ so is very happy to play to any size audience.
