Alongside Gareth Mitchell, and through the Science Communication Group at Imperial College London, Greg delivered some science communication media training for the Sainsbury’s Farming Scholars. After discussing how their profession is represented in the media and the realities and process of news & documentary production, Greg helped them prepare for future interviews by boiling their message down into key media-friendly points and phrases. Armed with a camera he then filmed each Scholar before editing together two media packages to show the power of editing, preparing soundbites, body language, and a myriad of other aspects of preparing the Scholars for future media work communicating their work.
